4 Pinewood Retreat

4 Pinewood is a single-storey Finnish-style log cabin within Pinewood Retreat, a holiday park near Rousdon and a short drive from the Jurassic Coast. Natural timber floors, walls and ceilings run throughout, giving the cabin a warm, characterful feel, and it sleeps 4 across a double and a twin bedroom, both on the ground floor.

The open-plan living area has a comfortable sofa beside an electric stove and a kitchen with an electric oven and hob, microwave and a fridge with an ice box. A TV and WiFi are provided, and fuel and power are included in the rent. A bathroom with a bath and shower over serves both bedrooms, and a welcome pack is left for guests on arrival.

Guests can use both an indoor swimming pool, open all year, and a seasonal outdoor pool on site, along with a communal lawn and play area; children need supervising around the pools at all times. A veranda with enclosed decking gives space for a morning coffee outside, surrounded by the retreat's parkland setting.

One car can park in the main car park on site. There's no capacity to charge electric vehicles at the property, though charging points are available in nearby Seaton's Tesco and Aldi car parks. Pets are not permitted and the cabin is no smoking throughout.
