Rock Cottage

Rock Cottage sits on a quiet street in Beer, a small coastal village in South Devon, with the shingle beach, pub and village shop all within half a mile. The cottage sleeps six across three bedrooms: a king-size room, a twin, and a super-king zip-and-link that can be reconfigured as two twins on request. Two waterfall-shower bathrooms serve the house, one on each floor.

The ground floor centres on a corner sofa and three armchairs around a Smart TV, with a separate kitchen-diner equipped with an electric oven, gas hob, fridge-freezer, dishwasher and microwave. A utility room off the entrance porch adds a washing machine and tumble dryer. The dining table seats all six guests, and a highchair is available for younger children.

From the entrance porch, a few steps lead up to the enclosed rear patio, furnished with outdoor seating and a gas BBQ. Parking is arranged by way of a permit for a nearby public car park rather than a dedicated private space. Up to two dogs are welcome, though additional charges may apply.

Beer sits within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, its shingle beach backed by limestone cliffs. The village has independent shops, galleries and eating options close by, and the Beer Quarry Caves and Pecorama attraction are worth factoring into your stay.
