Rivers Meet

This retreat sits close to the sands of Instow, with the beach within walking distance of the front door. It sleeps eight across three bedrooms, with a Victorian hallway and original floor tiles leading into two separate lounge areas.

The first lounge looks out towards the North Devon Yacht Club and has two sofas, two armchairs and a Smart TV, while the second has its own wood burner for cooler evenings. The open-plan kitchen/diner is equipped with an electric oven, gas hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, coffee machine and dishwasher. A utility room off the kitchen holds a washing machine, tumble dryer and a second fridge/freezer, alongside a shower room and WC useful for rinsing off after the beach.

Upstairs, both super-king-size bedrooms are well appointed: one has an en-suite shower room, while the zip-and-link room opens onto a balcony overlooking the rear garden and countryside. The bunk room offers two sets of bunk beds, and a separate bathroom with bath and shower serves the remaining bedrooms. Outside, an enclosed rear garden with countryside views and a patio area beneath the balcony give some outdoor space for guests.

Wi-Fi is available throughout, and a travel cot and highchair can be provided for younger guests. Off-road parking is available for one car, situated around 100 yards from the property rather than directly outside. Dogs are not accepted here. Arrival is from 5pm and departure by 10am.
