Retro Lodge nr Dartmoor with hot tub sauna

Retro Lodge is a single-storey lodge in Atway, in a wooded glade beside the owners' 15th-century thatched farmhouse and about 1.2 miles from Bovey Tracey, on the edge of Dartmoor National Park. It suits couples or a solo traveller, sleeping 2 in one double bedroom; children are not permitted, infants only.

The bedroom has a high-quality Otty mattress and plenty of storage, and a shower room with a walk-in shower, basin and WC completes the interior. Although the lodge is single-storey, there are steps up to the door.

The open-plan living space has a kitchen with an oven, hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, kettle, toaster and coffee maker, and the sitting area has a FreeSat TV with Netflix, a Bluetooth speaker, WiFi and a selection of books. Heating and air conditioning come from an air source heat pump, and fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the rent.

Outside, a south-facing covered veranda looks towards Dartmoor through the trees, and the non-enclosed garden has a dining area, furniture, a barbecue, a fire pit, an outdoor shower and secure bike storage, alongside a private hot tub overlooking the adjacent field. A wood-fired sauna hut is available exclusively for guests at an extra charge. Off-road parking is provided for 1 car, and the shop and pub are both under half a mile away. No pets are allowed and the lodge is no smoking throughout.
