Primrose Cottage At Greatrock Farm

Primrose Cottage forms part of Greatrock Farm, a small group of three cottages set in a wooded valley near Hennock, close to Bovey Tracey. This cottage sleeps up to four guests and is attached to the main farmhouse, with an open-plan lounge, dining area and kitchen on the ground floor warmed by a wood burner, plus a Freeview TV and DVD player.

Upstairs are two bedrooms: a double and a twin room with 2'6" beds, slightly lower than standard, which can be arranged as a single room if preferred. The single bathroom has a walk-in shower, WC, wash basin and heated towel radiator. The kitchen is equipped with an electric combi oven and hob and a fridge with an ice compartment for self-catering.

Outside, the cottage has its own private courtyard with dining furniture, reached through French doors from the lounge or via a side gate, along with a separate bistro set at the front of the cottage. Guests also have access to shared grounds shared with the other Greatrock Farm cottages, including an outdoor kitchen with a wood-fired barbecue, a croquet lawn, a petanque court and an enclosed dog walking paddock. A shared games barn offers pool, table tennis, darts, table football and a home cinema system, with a wood-burning stove for cooler days.

Parking is available on site, and a shared washing machine and tumble dryer can be used for an additional charge. Wifi is provided, and a travel cot and highchair are available on request. Up to two dogs can stay, with additional charges applying. Arrival is from 3.30pm and departure by 10am.
