The Mews

The Mews is a first-floor barn conversion on the outskirts of Bovey Tracey, reached by a flight of steps and set on a farm with geese and ducks alongside. It sleeps 4 across two bedrooms, a double and a twin, sharing a shower room with a walk-in shower, basin, heated towel rail and WC.

The open-plan living space has a kitchen with an air fryer, an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine, dishwasher and coffee maker, plus a Smart TV and WiFi. A woodburning stove warms the sitting area, with fuel, power and a starter pack for the stove included in the rent.

Off-road parking is provided for 2 cars, and a side patio has furniture and a barbecue for outdoor meals. The annex accepts a minimum stay of 3 nights, and dogs should be kept on the lead around the farm's geese and ducks.

The Mews welcomes two well-behaved small dogs, or one well-behaved medium dog. Smoking is not permitted, and the shop is 1.3 miles away with the pub 1.2 miles from the door.

Chudleigh Knighton, about 3.7 miles away, has riverside walks along the River Teign, a café and a local post office. Stover Country Park, Canonteign Falls and Becky Falls Ancient Woodland Park are all within reach for a day out, along with Bonehill Rocks and Hound Tor on Dartmoor.
