Ralphy's Retreats

This 18th-century cottage stands in the centre of West Down, with the village shop and pub within a couple of minutes' walk. The property sleeps six across three bedrooms and retains original features such as exposed wooden beams alongside updated decor and home entertainment throughout.

The layout offers a king-size room with its own en-suite shower room, plus a double and a twin bedroom sharing a family bathroom fitted with both a bath and a walk-in shower. Downstairs, the lounge is arranged around a wall-mounted Smart TV and a wood burner, with a first basket of logs provided, while the open-plan kitchen/diner has an electric oven and hob, fridge/freezer, washer/dryer, dishwasher and coffee machine, along with a dining table with bench seating.

Outside there is an enclosed private garden with patio furniture, a charcoal BBQ and an outside heated dog tap, suited to meals outdoors or simply unwinding after a day exploring the coast. Two dogs are welcome, with additional charges applying, and the heated tap is handy for washing them down after walks.

Practical details worth noting before booking include private parking for one car, with a free village car park available if a second space is needed, and a travel cot, highchair and bed guard supplied on request. Arrival is from 4pm and departure before 10am.
