Purley

This holiday home sits around 200 metres from the beach in Beer, near Seaton, and sleeps up to six people. From the entrance hall, a cosy living room has wooden floorboards and a working fireplace, while the open-plan kitchen/diner is fitted in a country cottage style with a pine farmhouse table.

Also on the ground floor is a garden room used as an occasional bedroom, with a three-quarter size futon sofa bed and an adjoining shower room. Upstairs are the three main bedrooms: a king-size, a twin and a room with a bunk bed. The family bathroom has a bath with a shower over it, and there is a second shower room downstairs with a separate WC.

Outside, an enclosed terraced garden to the rear has a patio and garden furniture, with cushions stored under the stairs for use during a stay. The garden area beyond the courtyard is not available for guest use. Parking is limited to one small car to the front of the property.

The kitchen is equipped with a gas hob, electric oven, dishwasher, microwave and washer/dryer, and a highchair is provided for younger visitors. A smart TV and DVD player are in the living room, though mobile signal in the area can be variable. Two dogs are welcome, with additional charges that may apply, and the pub, shop and beach are all a short walk away.
