Puffin

Puffin is a first-floor apartment in a small holiday development in Kingsteignton, a town at the head of the Teign Estuary. Guests reach it through its own external entrance and a dedicated reception for key collection, rather than a key box. It sleeps 2 in a single bedroom, with an open-plan kitchen, dining and sitting area making up the rest of the apartment. Newton Abbot is around 1.9 miles away and Torquay about 9.1 miles, both within reach for a day trip.

The bedroom has a super-king-size bed, which can be split into twin beds on request, along with its own TV. The bathroom is fitted with a bath and an overhead shower, a basin, a heated towel rail and a WC.

In the open-plan living area, the kitchen has an oven, hob, microwave, fridge, kettle and toaster, and the dining table sits alongside a sitting area with a second TV. Fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the rent. The development also has a leisure club, restaurant, gym, sauna and swimming pool, though these are shut for maintenance until January 2027.

Designated off-road parking is provided, and Puffin welcomes one well-behaved pet for an extra charge, payable on arrival. Bookings run to a minimum stay of two nights, and smoking is not permitted anywhere on the property. A shop is around 0.6 miles away, the nearest pub about 0.7 miles, and the river and canal are closer still at 0.4 miles.
