Onedin House

Onedin House stands towards the bottom of Crowthers Hill in Dartmouth, a steep and in places narrow street about a five-minute walk from the town centre. The house is set on four levels, with a ground-floor lounge, dining area and kitchen, and a top-floor sitting room known as 'The Snug' opening onto a small balcony with views up the Dart to the higher ferry, past the castle and out to sea.

The house sleeps 6 across three bedrooms. On the first floor are a double bedroom with river views and a twin room, sharing a fully tiled bathroom with bath and overhead shower. The second-floor master has a king-size bed and its own tiled bathroom with a separate shower, serving the water-view room directly. 'The Snug' has its own crockery, cutlery, fridge and sink for drinks and light meals away from the main kitchen.

The kitchen is fitted with a four-ring gas hob, microwave, dishwasher, washer dryer, air fryer and fridge/freezer, and gas-fired central heating runs throughout the house. A patio with table and chairs leads to a lawn and garden with river views, and pubs, restaurants and a supermarket are all within a tenth of a mile.

There is no parking at the property itself, though a parking permit is supplied. Onedin House does not accept pets and is strictly no smoking, and the four-level layout with a steep approach hill is worth planning around if anyone in your group struggles with stairs.
