This first-floor apartment sits on the edge of Appledore, a working fishing village where boats land their daily catch at the quay within walking distance. The River Torridge estuary dominates the outlook from both the lounge and kitchen, visible through large windows that frame the water and the opposite shore. A ferry crosses to Instow, where a yacht club, beach and craft workshops draw visitors year-round. Westward Ho! lies a short drive away, with a two-mile sandy beach backed by Northam Burrows Country Park.

The lounge and dining area share uninterrupted estuary views, with a comfortable sofa and a folding dining table positioned right under the window to make the most of them. An electric coal-effect fire provides warmth in cooler months, while Wi-fi and a Smart TV handle connectivity. The kitchen is well-equipped with an oven, hob, microwave, dishwasher, fridge/freezer and coffee machine, and also looks out over the water. Both bedrooms are doubles; one opens directly onto the private enclosed patio via sliding doors, making for a memorable morning view across the estuary. The bathroom contains a shower and WC.

Outside, a private enclosed patio with table and chairs sits to the rear of the property, accessed through the bedroom. It captures the sights and sounds of the estuary and offers a sheltered place to sit throughout the day. Roadside parking and public car parks are available locally, and shops and a pub are within walking distance.

The apartment accommodates two adults only; no children or infants are accepted, and no dogs are permitted. A single flight of stairs leads to the first floor and there is no lift in the building. Smoking is not permitted inside or outside.
