Little Puffins

Little Puffins is one of three Heritage court cottages sharing a cobbled courtyard in the fishing village of Appledore, sleeping two adults with up to two dogs welcome. The ground floor opens into an open-plan lounge, dining area and kitchen, with a feature fireplace housing a stylish electric fire as the focal point of the room. Contemporary furnishings, folding dining tables, a smart TV and a kitchen fitted with an electric oven and hob, microwave, split fridge, Belfast sink and dishwasher complete the space.

A steep cottage-style staircase leads to the king-size bedroom, which has USB charging points and exposed vaulted ceiling beams. Beyond it sits a spacious shower room with vanity and WC. The staircase is worth bearing in mind if steep stairs are a concern for any member of your party.

Parking is not allocated to the property: on-street spaces are roughly a two-minute walk, and a pay-and-display car park sits at the end of the street. There is no private garden, though a storage bench is available in the shared courtyard. Shops and pubs are around 300 metres away, and the quayside is a short stroll, with pet-friendly restaurants, a gallery and craft shops close by.

Arrival is from 15:00 and departure by 10:00. Two dogs are accepted, though additional charges may apply. A welcome pack and in-property video guides point you towards local walking routes, cycling trails and seasonal coastal boat trips from the area.
