A two-bedroom cottage sleeping two adults plus one small child in Appledore, the North Devon fishing village known for its narrow lanes, quayside and independent galleries. The property is not suitable for babies, and no dogs are permitted. Shops, restaurants and pubs are around 200 metres away, making it easy to leave the car behind for much of your stay.

The ground floor holds a lounge-diner with comfortable seating and a Smart TV, a dining table positioned by the window, and a galley-style kitchen equipped with an electric oven and hob, microwave and fridge with ice compartment. On chilly evenings the lounge has a wood burner-effect electric fire to take the edge off. A family shower room with a walk-in shower and WC completes the ground floor. Upstairs are two bedrooms, a master double and a single, both served by a single first-floor WC.

An enclosed rear courtyard is reached directly from the kitchen and comes with a bistro-style table and chairs, practical for an evening meal or morning coffee when the weather allows. There is no on-site private parking; roadside spaces are subject to availability, and a public car park around 350 metres away charges a fee, so it is worth factoring that cost into your plans.

The South West Coast Path is approximately 200 metres from the door, and the nearest beach is around two miles away. Check-in is from 16:00 and check-out is before 10:00.
