Ocello

Ocello is a triplex apartment set over three floors in the heart of Dartmouth, close to the mouth of the River Dart. The first-floor open-plan living space holds the kitchen, dining area and a sitting area built around a woodburning stove, with a TV for evenings in.

Upstairs, the second-floor bedroom has a king-size bed and its own balcony, while the third-floor family room holds two double beds with an en-suite shower room, basin, heated towel rail and WC. A second bathroom on the second floor has a bath and walk-in shower, plus a separate WC. The property suits up to 4 adults and 2 children, 6 guests in total.

The kitchen is fitted with an electric oven and hob, a microwave, a fridge, a dishwasher and a coffee machine, and the TV has Sky, with WiFi in the apartment. Fuel, power and a stove starter pack are included in the rent, along with bed linen and towels.

Two flights of stairs lead up through the building, and the top-floor staircase has no handrail. The staircases are steep and wind round, especially the one to the third-floor family room, so the apartment may not suit guests with mobility issues. Some floors are uneven given the property's age, with a step up to the cloakroom and bathroom. There is no parking at Ocello itself, though public car parks and on-street parking sit nearby, subject to restrictions. The shop and pub are 0.1 miles away, with the beach around 1.1 miles. Dogs are welcome (check the limit when you book), and smoking is not allowed.
