Moonrakers, Clarence Street

Moonrakers is a detached house in an elevated position a five-minute walk from the centre of Dartmouth, with views over the town and towards the River Dart from the living accommodation. Access is via a footpath with two flights of steps, 41 in total, leading up to the entrance hall. The house sleeps 6 across three bedrooms and two bathrooms.

On the lower level is an en suite king-size double bedroom and a second double bedroom, with the second double using the family bathroom, which has a bath and shower over; there's also a cloakroom at ground-floor level. The upper level has a twin bedroom with two single beds that can be zipped together to form a super king-size bed, with river views of its own.

The recently refurbished kitchen has a four-ring gas hob, electric oven, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and microwave, plus a farmhouse table seating five. The sitting/dining room has sliding glass doors onto a balcony, and a highchair is provided for younger guests.

Outside there are two enclosed garden areas plus a large furnished patio with a barbecue, ideal for eating outdoors. A car port holds one large car or two small ones. One well-behaved dog is welcome, kept off the soft furnishings. Confirm the pet policy when booking. The property is strictly no smoking. Guests bring their own tea towels, beach towels and oven gloves, and the beds can be made up as a super king or twin if requested at least two weeks before arrival.
