Mettaford Farm - Cherry Cottage

Cherry Cottage at Mettaford Farm sleeps four near Hartland, with bedrooms downstairs and the living room upstairs. Its own enclosed lawn has outdoor furniture and a charcoal barbecue. Beyond the cottage, guests share an indoor heated pool, games room and other facilities with the neighbouring properties.

The ground-floor double and twin bedrooms use one shower room with underfloor heating. Stairs lead to the open-plan kitchen, dining and sitting room, where the windows look over the garden and countryside. The kitchen has an electric oven and hob, microwave, dishwasher and fridge/freezer. Sofas face a Smart TV and DVD player at the other end of the room.

Laundry facilities are in a shared utility room rather than inside the cottage. The pool has set opening periods, and the hot tub and sauna can be booked. A separate games room contains table tennis, darts, a pool table and a TV. An enclosed paddock and further fields are available for dog exercise; check the current access arrangements on arrival.

Parking is available, with a shared EV charging facility that requires your own compatible cable and carries a usage charge. Two dogs are welcome, but infants are not accepted. The shop and pub are two miles away, and the beach four miles away. Compare the shared-facility setup with other North Devon stays if privacy is a priority. Arrival is from 4pm, with an earlier departure time of 9.30am.
