Mariners Retreat, 8 Pottery Cottages

Mariner's Retreat is a three-storey cottage in Dartmouth, a short walk from the River Dart, shops and restaurants. The cottage sleeps 6 across three bedrooms and three bathrooms, with an open-plan kitchen, dining and sitting room on the ground floor alongside a cloakroom and utility area.

Upstairs, a king-size bedroom has its own en-suite shower room, and a second-floor twin has a separate en-suite shower; a double bedroom on the middle floor sits next to the main family bathroom, which has a bath and a shower attachment. The utility area holds a washing machine, tumble dryer, clothes airer and iron.

The kitchen is fitted with an electric oven, induction hob, microwave, fridge/freezer and dishwasher, and the dining table seats the household for meals in. WiFi and a TV cover evenings, and a highchair is available on request for younger visitors. Outside, an enclosed decking area gives a spot for morning coffee, and the enclosed garden beyond adds further outdoor space with countryside views.

Mariner's Retreat takes two well-behaved pets. Off-road parking is provided for one car, with visitors' parking available nearby on a first-come, first-served basis. Smoking and car charging are not permitted, stag and hen parties are not accepted, and the shop is 2.7 miles away with the pub 3.3 miles, both within walking distance along with the river at 0.1 miles.
