March House

This house near Wembury sleeps eight across four bedrooms and sits within walking distance of the village pub, shop and beach. The open-plan living area has leather sofas, a Smart TV, a wood burner with a first basket of logs included, and two sets of French doors opening onto sea views.

The kitchen has an electric oven, gas hob, fridge and dishwasher, with a separate utility room housing a microwave, freezer, washing machine and tumble dryer. A ground-floor shower room with WC sits off the utility area, useful after a day at the beach. Upstairs, the super-king-size master bedroom has a vaulted ceiling, a glass-fronted balcony with sea views, and an en-suite bathroom with an Airbath and separate wet room-style shower. The remaining three bedrooms, with sloping loft-style ceilings, share a family bathroom with bath and separate shower.

Outside, a lawned garden has a decked patio, garden furniture, garden games and a charcoal barbecue. A private hot tub and heated outdoor pool sit to the rear; the pool is heated from May to the end of September, has a depth of 1.5 metres with no shallow end, and the garden and pool area are not fenced, so children need supervision. Private off-road parking for four cars is provided, reached via an uneven private lane. Wi-Fi is fibre optic but can be intermittent given the location.

As a family home, the owners do not accept group, hen or stag bookings, and dogs are not permitted. A travel cot and highchair are available for younger guests. Arrival is from 4pm and departure by 10am.
