Spirewell Farm - The Farmhouse

This farmhouse near Wembury, Devon, sleeps up to ten across six bedrooms and is arranged for a large family or group holiday. The entrance hall doubles as a dining area, leading into a spacious farmhouse-style kitchen with an electric range cooker, fridge/freezer, microwave and dishwasher. A separate utility room houses the washing machine and tumble dryer and gives access to a downstairs shower room with WC.

Upstairs, the six bedrooms comprise a king-size room, a bunk bedroom with its own en-suite bathroom (separate shower and WC), two twin rooms and two single rooms, along with a further first-floor bathroom that also has a separate shower and WC. The lounge has a wood burner for cooler evenings, a TV/DVD, Wi-Fi and a reading room with books. A sunroom opens through French doors to the front garden, patio and driveway, and there is a children's play room stocked with toys.

Outside, a large enclosed garden runs alongside a small stream, with patio seating set up to take in the valley views. Parking is ample and off-road, and electric vehicle charging has been added on site. Two dogs are welcome, with additional charges applying, though guests are asked not to use fireworks or fly drones near the property because of livestock on the working farm.

Due to the property being part of a family home, the owners do not accept group, hen or stag party bookings. The farmhouse can also be booked alongside two neighbouring properties for larger gatherings needing more sleeping space. A shop and pub are within half a mile, and the beach is around a mile and a half away.
