Lower Norton Farmhouse

Lower Norton Farmhouse sits on the outskirts of Dartmouth, a stone farmhouse in the South Devon Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty spread over three floors and sleeping 10 across five bedrooms.

The five bedrooms are split across the house: a super king-size room with an en-suite shower room, a king-size room with an en-suite bathroom and bath, two twin rooms, one of them zip/link, and a further double on the ground floor. A family bathroom has a double-ended bath and a double walk-in shower, plus a separate ground-floor cloakroom.

The open-plan kitchen and dining room has a wood burning stove, and a separate living/dining room has a second one. Appliances include a dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer and wine fridge, with a lower ground floor utility room, and the house has underfloor heating. Guests can also book the hot tub for an extra charge.

Outside, an enclosed front patio and an enclosed lawned garden come with decking, furniture and an outdoor shower for dogs, and pets are welcome; check the limit when you book. A car park sits on the left before the house, and a bus stop nearby serves Dartmouth, Totnes, Kingsbridge and Salcombe. Smoking is not permitted, and the shop and pub are about a mile away. Access is down a bridleway or lane that may not suit low-suspension cars.
