Court Lodge, Hillfield Village

Court Lodge is a five-bedroom house in the Hillfield Village development, overlooking the tennis court and around four miles from Dartmouth and its coves and beaches. The house sleeps up to 10 guests, with two king-size bedrooms and three twin bedrooms, four of them en suite.

On the ground floor there is a king-size en-suite double, a twin room with its own en suite, and a further twin room that uses the ground-floor family bathroom, which has a whirlpool bath and a stereo system. Upstairs, one en-suite bedroom has a king-size bed and the other has twin beds, with a gallery seating area overlooking the dining room below.

The kitchen-diner has a ceramic hob, a fan-assisted oven, a dishwasher and a fridge, and a separate utility room holds a washing machine, tumble dryer and a second fridge-freezer. As part of Hillfield Village, guests can use the shared gardens, the all-weather tennis court and a children's play area, though barbecues are not permitted anywhere on the development.

A large hot tub for four to eight adults sits on the decked area outside, ideal for a leisurely breakfast or an al fresco meal, though it cannot be guaranteed for bookings made within five days of arrival. Parking is provided for 2-3 cars, bed linen and towels are supplied, and the house does not accept pets. Baby equipment is provided, and the property is strictly no smoking.
