3 The Drive, Hillfield Village

3 The Drive sits in the Hillfield Village development near Blackawton, about four miles from Dartmouth. Recently built, the detached house sleeps 10 across five bedrooms and five bathrooms over three floors, with a 35-foot open-plan sitting and dining room opening onto a terrace and garden.

Two super-king-size bedrooms have en-suite shower rooms and can be made up as twins on request, and a twin bedroom has its own en-suite shower room too. Two further king-size bedrooms sit on the second floor, sharing a family bathroom with a freestanding bath, and there is a separate ground-floor shower room.

The kitchen and utility room are fitted with Siemens appliances including an electric oven, an induction hob, a dishwasher, a washing machine and a tumble dryer, and the living area has a woodburning stove. Fuel and power are included in the rent, and a travel cot, highchair and stairgate are available on request.

Hillfield Village has its own gardens, an all-weather tennis court and a children's play area for guests to use, though tennis rackets and balls are not supplied, so bring your own to play. Barbecues are not permitted anywhere on site, and off-road parking is provided for four cars.

Blackawton, a short journey away, has a village shop and the George Inn pub for stocking up or an evening out. The house does not accept pets, hen or stag parties, or smoking indoors.
