Lower Moorwood

Lower Moorwood is a single-storey annex at Moorwood, a short distance from Bovey Tracey, with views across the surrounding Devon hills. The property sleeps 8 across four bedrooms, with a private hot tub on the enclosed patio.

Three of the four bedrooms are king-size with their own en-suite, one with a wet-room style shower, and each fitted with a TV. The fourth bedroom is a twin that opens directly outside; it has no shower of its own, so those guests use one of the en-suites. A cloakroom with basin and WC completes the ground floor.

The open-plan kitchen, dining and sitting areas share wooden flooring throughout. The kitchen has a built-in oven, microwave, hob, airfryer, washing machine and a slimline dishwasher. Biomass and solar heating keep the annex warm, and a travel cot, highchair and baby bath are available for younger guests.

Outside, the enclosed patio has furniture and a gas BBQ alongside the hot tub. Off-road parking covers multiple cars. There's water on the grounds, fenced off, so guests with children are asked to keep the wooden gates closed. No pets and no smoking, and stag or hen parties aren't accepted. Bookings over peak weeks run Saturday to Saturday.
