Gloccamaura

Gloccamaura is a single-storey lodge secluded in woodland on the outskirts of Bovey Tracey. Steps lead up to the property from the parking area, and it sleeps 8 across four bedrooms and three bathrooms, with an open-plan living space at its centre.

The king-size master bedroom and a double bedroom each have their own en-suite shower room, and two twin bedrooms share a family bathroom with a bath and separate shower cubicle. A snug room with a corner sofa and TV sits apart from the main living area, a quieter spot away from the open-plan kitchen, dining and sitting space with its woodburning stove.

The kitchen is fully equipped, with a fridge/freezer, washing machine, tumble dryer and dishwasher in a separate utility room, plus a dining table for eight. A travel cot and highchair are provided for younger guests, and there's a selection of books and games. Charging electric vehicles through the internal sockets is not permitted.

Outside, the enclosed garden has decking, a lawn and furniture around a hot tub and barbecue. Gloccamaura takes two well-behaved dogs. Off-road parking is ample, and the property is strictly no smoking. The nearest shop is 1.5 miles away and the nearest pub 1.4 miles. Stag, hen and similar parties are not accepted, and peak-season bookings must run Saturday to Saturday.
