Lower Glebe Cottage

Lower Glebe Cottage is a two-bedroom stone property in Trentishoe, within Exmoor National Park, sleeping four guests across a king-size room and a twin, both on the first floor with ample storage. One bathroom serves the whole cottage, fitted with a free-standing bath, walk-in shower and WC. Two dogs are welcome, though additional charges may apply.

The open-plan lounge, kitchen and dining room runs across the ground floor, with exposed wooden ceiling beams and neutral decor. The kitchen is equipped with an electric oven and hob, slimline dishwasher, washer/dryer, fridge, freezer, microwave and a Dulce Gusto coffee machine. A Smart TV and comfortable sofas complete the living area, and the dining space sits behind the lounge to the right of the kitchen. Access to the property is through gates onto the patio, then up a step and through the patio doors.

Outside, an enclosed courtyard provides a sheltered spot with patio furniture and a charcoal BBQ. A private hot tub and a fire pit round out the outdoor space, useful on cooler North Devon evenings. Private parking is available for two cars.

A highchair and travel cot are available for families with young children. The nearest pub is one mile away, a shop is three miles distant, and the coast is reached in around four miles. The South West Coast Path is accessible from Trentishoe Down, with rugged moorland and clifftop walking on the doorstep. Arrival is from 16:00 and departure before 10:00.
