Converted stone barn for two near Parracombe

This converted stone barn sits at the end of a row of three similar properties near Parracombe, close to Combe Martin. The open-plan living and dining room just inside the front door keeps its original low ceilings, measuring 6'6" in places, and a steep open-tread staircase leads up to the first floor.

The kitchen area is equipped for everyday cooking with an electric hob and oven, microwave and fridge/freezer, while a utility room shared with the other two properties holds a washer/dryer and ironing board. Upstairs, the double bedroom has country views and sits next to the bathroom, which has a shower over the bath and a WC.

Outside, a sheltered private dining area gives space for a morning coffee or an evening meal, and guests can also use a larger shared garden furnished with picnic tables. Parking is in a designated area around 50 yards from the cottage; the low kerb clearance near the property means it is not suitable for low-suspension vehicles, though you can unload close by.

This is a two-person let with one dog permitted, subject to an additional charge, and smoking is not allowed inside the property or in the grounds. There is no mobile signal on site, so anyone needing to stay connected should plan accordingly, though the property does have internet access. The nearest pub is a two-mile walk, with a beach around two miles away and a shop roughly five miles distant.
