Lower Dean Farm

This wing of a farmhouse near Parracombe sits within an Exmoor valley setting and sleeps up to eight guests across three bedrooms. A wide staircase leads up from the entrance hallway, and the ground floor holds two interconnecting lounges, one with a wood burner set into an original inglenook fireplace, along with a well-equipped kitchen and an adjoining dining room.

Upstairs, one double bedroom has its own en-suite shower room, a second double connects through to a bunk bedroom and shares an en-suite bathroom, and a twin room (which can be made up as a super-king on request) is served by a separate family shower room. A wet room with WC sits on the ground floor, and a utility room adds further practicality for longer stays.

Outside there are three distinct spaces: a fully enclosed patio with a partly covered private hot tub for five, a small enclosed front garden, and an elevated lawn garden with hillside views. A charcoal barbecue, garden seating and a games barn with table tennis are all available on site, and horse riding can be arranged through the owners' adjacent stables. Private parking is provided for three cars, with electric vehicle charging also on site.

Families are welcome, with a travel cot, highchair and stairgate supplied along with beach towels and a welcome pack. Two dogs are permitted, subject to an additional charge. The property has a washing machine, dishwasher and Starlink internet, with the nearest pub around 1.5 miles away and a shop about 2 miles from the door.
