Little Claremont

Little Claremont is a single-storey annex in the village of Dousland, near Yelverton on the edge of Dartmoor National Park. It sleeps 2 in one double bedroom with plenty of storage, plus a shower room, kitchen and a combined living/dining room, reached with off-road parking right outside.

The kitchen has an electric oven, ceramic hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, a washing machine, kettle and toaster, giving room to cook a full meal rather than rely on takeaways. The living/dining room has a Smart TV with Freeview, WiFi, and a selection of books, DVDs and games, plus an electric fire for cooler evenings. Night storage heating with backup electric heating covers the annex, and fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the rent.

The shower room has a walk-in shower, basin and WC, and a highchair and travel cot are available for younger guests. Outside, an enclosed front garden has a lawn, a patio and furniture, overlooked by mature trees and shrubs, a quiet spot for a morning coffee. Dogs are welcome (confirm how many when booking); only babies are accepted rather than older children. Smoking is not permitted anywhere on site. The shop is around 1.1 miles away and the pub about 0.2 miles, with Yelverton itself roughly 1.2 miles by road and Tavistock about 5.7 miles further on.
