Hilly Field Barn

Hilly Field Barn stands on the edge of Buckland Monachorum, about three miles from Yelverton and within reach of Dartmoor National Park. The whole cottage is on one level, built opposite the owner's home with a view over the valley towards the village. A single double bedroom has an en-suite bathroom with both a bath and a shower over, and the open-plan living space combines the kitchen, dining area and sitting room.

The kitchen is fitted with an electric oven and hob, a microwave and a fridge, and oil-fired central heating keeps the cottage warm, with fuel and power included in the rent. A washing machine and dishwasher are provided, along with a Freesat TV and WiFi, and the bedroom has oak furniture for storing belongings.

Outside, a lawned garden gives space to sit out, and off-road parking is provided for two cars. A travel cot and highchair are available on request for younger visitors, and well-behaved pets are welcome (confirm how many when booking). The cottage is strictly no smoking throughout.

The nearest shop is 2.2 miles away, the closest pub around a mile, and the coast roughly 17 miles further on, so this suits a countryside base rather than a seaside one. Bed linen and towels are included in the rent, and the property carries a refundable housekeeping bond.
