Former bank in Moretonhampstead with a roof terrace and woodburner

Lion House stands in the centre of Moretonhampstead, a former bank that still has its original vault door and gate, now leading into the kitchen-diner. The ground-floor sitting room has tall ceilings, plush seating, a Smart TV and a woodburner, and a single bedroom on the ground floor has its own feature fireplace and a window over a small courtyard, reached through a cloakroom off the inner hall.

The kitchen has a gas-fired AGA oven and hob, microwave, fridge-freezer, washing machine and dishwasher. Upstairs, the master bedroom has a super-king-size bed, a TV and antique furnishings, and opens onto a first-floor roof terrace with outdoor furniture overlooking the town square. A bathroom with a bath and overhead shower, basin and WC completes the first floor, and there's a cloakroom downstairs.

Gas central heating runs throughout, with fuel and power included in the rent, and a selection of books and WiFi are provided. Parking is available in a public car park nearby, and the owner provides a parking permit for the duration of your stay. The shop and pub are around 0.1 miles away.

Lion House does not accept pets, and the property is strictly no smoking. The house sleeps 3 across its two bedrooms, one on each floor.
