Clifford Lodge Barn

Clifford Lodge Barn is a converted barn right in Moretonhampstead, on the edge of Dartmoor National Park, with exposed beams overhead and a spiral staircase at its centre. The sitting area is built around a woodburning stove and a Smart TV, with board games stacked nearby for evenings in.

The kitchen has plenty of room to cook and gather, with a dining table for sharing meals and planning the next day's walk. One of the three bedrooms, a super king-size zip/link room that can be made up as a twin, sits downstairs, while the remaining king-size and double bedrooms are upstairs, and three bathrooms between them mean no queuing in the morning.

A shared courtyard offers a spot for a morning coffee, with a small stretch of woodland close by for gentle walks or letting a dog stretch its legs. Free parking is available on the premises, and the kitchen is fitted with an electric cooker, a single oven, a dishwasher and a Nespresso coffee maker, alongside a games console and WiFi indoors.

Clifford Lodge Barn takes two well-behaved pets and is no smoking throughout. The shop is 3.4 miles away and the pub 3 miles, with the town of Moretonhampstead itself offering shops and places to eat within easy reach.
