Leylands

Leylands is a late Victorian terraced house in Salcombe, arranged over two floors with views of the harbour towards South Pool Creek and East Portlemouth. The house sleeps 8 across four bedrooms and three bathrooms, though for comfort the property accepts a maximum of 6 adults and 2 children under 12 in any party.

The first-floor master bedroom has a king-size bed and its own en suite, and there's also a twin room, a further double, and a bunk room suitable for under-12s only. A family bathroom sits on the first floor, with a separate shower room on the ground floor, so mornings rarely clash.

The open-plan kitchen/diner is well equipped, and a lounge with a picture bay window gives an excellent view of the estuary. A second sitting room, furnished with two large sofas and its own TV, gives older children and adults a space of their own. Gas central heating runs through the house, and a highchair and travel cot are available on request.

To the rear is a sloping garden and an enclosed, furnished terrace with a barbecue. No pets are allowed at Leylands, and permit parking is available for 1 car in the nearby Creek car park, a short walk from the house. The shop and pub are both 0.3 miles away.
