Ladybird Rest

Ladybird Rest is a two-level holiday cottage in Parkham, a village near Bideford, sleeping 5 across three bedrooms. The open-plan kitchen, dining area and sitting room forms the heart of the ground floor, with a woodburning stove in the sitting room for cooler evenings, a Smart TV for quiet nights in, and a dining table with ample seating for mealtimes.

The three bedrooms, a king-size, a twin and a single, share one shower room with a walk-in shower, basin, heated towel rail and WC. The kitchen has two electric ovens, an induction hob, a microwave, a fridge/freezer, a washing machine and a dishwasher, giving enough capacity for a full group cooking together.

Outside, an enclosed rear garden has a patio, a gravelled area and garden furniture, a spot for dining outdoors or sitting with a drink. Electric central heating covers the cottage, with fuel, power, bed linen and towels included in the rent, and a highchair and travel cot are also available for younger visitors.

Ladybird Rest takes two well-behaved pets. There's a designated parking space for 1 car, and electric vehicle charging is not available on site. The nearest shop is 4.1 miles away and the nearest pub 2.1 miles, with Bideford itself around 6.6 miles by road, and Barnstaple around 10 miles. Smoking is not permitted inside.
