Butterfly Days

Butterfly Days is a single-storey holiday lodge in Parkham, a North Devon village around three miles from the coast and six miles from Bideford. The lodge sleeps 5 across three bedrooms and one shower room, and an open-plan living space brings the kitchen, dining and sitting areas together around a woodburning stove.

The three bedrooms are a king-size, a twin and a single, all served by the shower room with its walk-in shower, basin and WC. Electric central heating covers the lodge, and fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the rent.

The kitchen is fitted with an electric oven, induction hob, fridge/freezer, slimline dishwasher and washing machine, plus a kettle and toaster for everyday self-catering. A Smart TV and WiFi cover evenings in, and a highchair, stairgate and travel cot can be requested ahead of a stay with younger children.

Outside, a furnished front patio and an enclosed rear decking area both give room to sit out, whether for morning coffee or an evening meal. Off-road parking is provided at the lodge, though there is no facility on site for charging electric vehicles. Two well-behaved pets are welcome, and smoking is not permitted indoors. A pub is around 0.2 miles away, with the nearest shop just over 4 miles.
