Juniper Cottage

Juniper Cottage sits in an elevated position above Dartmouth, in the Above Town area, with harbour views from its windows. The terraced house sleeps 6 across three bedrooms and two shower rooms, one of the shower rooms on the ground floor. A steep, narrow access road and steps lead up to the house from the town centre, worth knowing if anyone in the group struggles with stairs.

All three bedrooms are upstairs: a king-size with its own balcony and views out to the distant sea, a second king-size that can be made up as twin beds on request, and a double. Both shower rooms have a walk-in shower, basin, heated towel rail and WC, and a split-level landing links the floors, so take care there.

Downstairs, the kitchen has an electric oven, gas hob and dishwasher, with a fridge that includes an icebox. The living/dining room opens onto a front patio with furniture, a spot for meals outside with those harbour views. Gas central heating, a Smart TV and WiFi cover the evenings in, and beds can be requested as super king or twin at least two weeks ahead of arrival.

An annual parking permit, for one car, covers the Mayors Avenue public car park around 0.5 miles from the property, subject to available spaces, though it is not available during the August Regatta. The shop is 0.4 miles away, the pub 0.2 miles and the beach 1.5 miles. Dogs are welcome at Juniper Cottage; check the limit when you book. Smoking is not permitted.
