Instow Cottage

Set in Instow, a coastal village where the sandy beach is within walking distance, this cottage accommodates 7 guests across four bedrooms: two king-size doubles, a twin and a single. One king-size bedroom is on the ground floor; the other is on the first floor with river views, as is the single bedroom. The kitchen/diner is well equipped with an oven, induction hob, dishwasher, microwave, air fryer and Nespresso machine, while a separate utility room houses the washer/dryer and an American-style fridge/freezer. A ground floor snug with a feature fireplace and smart TV opens onto the garden via French doors, and a dedicated office space suits anyone working remotely.

The first-floor bathroom offers a bath with handheld shower, a separate shower cubicle and WC, reached via two steps. A ground floor shower room with WC serves the ground floor bedroom. Steep stairs with a handrail and gate at the top lead to the third-floor lounge, a large room with opening windows creating a balcony and river views across the estuary.

The enclosed, dog-secure garden has seating and a barbecue. At the garden's end, a games room contains a table football table, dartboard, toys and games. Up to 5 dogs are welcome, though additional charges may apply. Roadside parking is available, with a pay-and-display car park nearby. Wi-Fi, electricity and heating are all included.

Instow has pubs, restaurants and a deli next door stocking fresh and homemade produce. Arrival is from 16:00 and departure before 10:00.
