Higher Gorse

Higher Gorse is a house in Roundswell, a village on the western edge of Barnstaple close to Bickington near Barnstaple. An open-plan living area brings together the kitchen, dining space and sitting area, with the dining table set for family meals and a Smart TV in the sitting area for evenings in.

The house sleeps 6 across three bedrooms: a king-size room with its own en-suite walk-in shower, a second king-size room and a double, all served by a family bathroom with a bath and shower over. A separate cloakroom adds convenience for a full house. A highchair is provided, and the kitchen has an electric oven, gas hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, kettle and toaster.

Outside, the enclosed garden has a patio, lawn and furniture, a good spot for dogs to stretch their legs or for breakfast on a fine morning. Off-road parking is provided for two cars, and gas central heating covers the house throughout. Bed linen and towels are included in the rent, and check-in isn't available on Sundays.

Higher Gorse welcomes two well-behaved dogs. Smoking isn't permitted anywhere in the house. The shop and pub are around 1.2 miles away, and the beach is roughly 1.5 miles from the house, within reach for a day trip.
