Higher Collaton Cottage

Higher Collaton Cottage is a period property in the hamlet of Collaton, three miles from Hope Cove and a five-minute drive from Salcombe, close to Malborough. It has been renovated to a high standard while keeping its original character features, and sleeps 6 across three bedrooms.

A stable door opens into a cosy sitting room with a feature wood burning stove, with a small study area next to it, though logs and kindling are not supplied. The modern kitchen leads through to a dining area with French doors onto the rear garden. The king-size bedroom has ample storage and its own en-suite shower room, the double bedroom overlooks the garden, and the twin bedroom suits children, with a family bathroom serving the two of them.

The kitchen is equipped with a fridge/freezer, washing machine, oven, hob, dishwasher, tumble dryer, microwave and a Nespresso machine, and WiFi is included. Outside, a large rear garden with a mature lawn adjoins a sun terrace with table, chairs, sun loungers and a barbecue for summer evenings.

Parking is provided for 2 cars. Pets are not accepted, and a returnable bond applies. Short breaks are not taken, arrivals are Thursdays only, a landline telephone covers local and incoming calls, and the property is strictly no smoking.
