Hazel Cottage

Hazel Cottage is a former barn on a farm within National Trust land, a 2 to 3 minute drive or 30 minute countryside walk from Malborough village. The property sleeps 6 across three bedrooms, with the South West Coast Path close by and the secluded, foot-access-only Soar Mill Cove reachable through the valley.

A double bedroom and a shower room sit on the ground floor, alongside a sitting room and a kitchen/dining room. Upstairs there is a second double bedroom and a twin room with zip-and-link beds that can be requested as a king-size, plus a small snug with a sofa/day-bed that suits children, and a family bathroom with bath and shower over.

The kitchen has a fridge/freezer, washing machine, tumble dryer, oven, hob, dishwasher and microwave, and there is a TV with Freeview and DVD, a music system and WiFi. Gas central heating runs through the property. Outside, a large terrace has a picnic table and a built-in barbecue, and there is a mature garden with a lawn, trees and shrubs, plus a courtyard with a shed and utility room.

Parking is provided for 2 cars on the gravelled area in front of the drive. One well-behaved dog is welcome, and a returnable bond applies. Mobile reception at the property is limited, and it is strictly no smoking.
