Hazelwood 4 @ Pinewood Retreat

Hazelwood 4 is a lodge on the single-storey grounds of Pinewood Retreat, a holiday park near Rousdon on the Devon/Dorset border, roughly midway between Lyme Regis and Seaton. The lodge sleeps 4 across a king-size bedroom with an en suite shower room and a twin bedroom, with a second bathroom with a bath for the household to share.

The open-plan living area has a vaulted ceiling and French doors that look out over the park, with a wall-mounted TV in the lounge and a kitchen built around a central island for casual dining. A separate dining table seats the household for family meals, and a wraparound decked veranda with outdoor furniture wraps around the lodge.

Guests have use of both an indoor and an outdoor swimming pool on site, the indoor pool open year-round bar three days over Christmas and the outdoor pool run seasonally. There's no travel cot or highchair provided, and the lodge's electricity supply isn't set up for charging an electric vehicle, though EV points are available in the Tesco and Aldi car parks nearby in Seaton.

Parking and a decked seating area sit alongside communal gardens shared with the rest of the park, and there's a launderette on site with charges payable. No pets are permitted and the lodge is no smoking throughout.
