Billy's Barn

Billy's Barn is a barn conversion on the owners' working farm outside Bradworthy, a village with a large square, shops and a pub in North Devon. The property is all on one level. The open-plan kitchen, dining and sitting area has vaulted ceilings, timber floors and full-length picture windows looking over the countryside, plus an electric fire for cooler evenings.

Two bedrooms sleep 4: a four-poster double with an en-suite walk-in shower, and a twin that can be zip-linked into a super king-size double on request, served by a separate bathroom with a bath and handheld shower. The kitchen has an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, dishwasher and washing machine.

Outside, an enclosed lawn garden has furniture and space for a game of French cricket, with a set provided. The farm surroundings bring deer, pheasant and the resident goat into view from the picture windows. A rail can be provided to stop larger dogs jumping the garden wall.

Billy's Barn welcomes two pets, and a cot and highchair are available. WiFi can be picked up from the garden and the main bedroom, though signal strength varies across the property. Off-road parking is provided for two cars on a cobble and gravel drive. The shop and pub are 3 miles away, and the beach 10 miles. This property only accepts Saturday changeovers, and smoking is not permitted.
