Grants Cottage

Grants Cottage is a Grade II listed house at the heart of Dartmouth, once the stables where ponies were kept to carry passengers up and down the steep street known as Slippery Way. Spread over three floors, it sleeps 8 across four bedrooms.

The ground floor has a sitting room with a woodburning stove and Smart TV, a snug at the back of the house overlooking the courtyard and suited to reading, and a kitchen/diner with an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine, tumble dryer and dishwasher. Two super king-size bedrooms with televisions and plenty of storage sit on the first floor, sharing a bathroom with a freestanding bath, separate shower, basin and heated towel rail.

The second floor holds two further super king-size bedrooms, both with their own en suite shower rooms. All four bedrooms can be made up as twins on request. A stairgate and highchair are available for younger guests, and one parking permit is provided for the Dartmouth Park and Ride.

Two well-behaved dogs are welcome, though they are not permitted upstairs; a dog crate is provided but guests will need to bring a dog bed. Smoking is not allowed. The pub is around 0.1 miles from the house and the shop about 0.9 miles.
