Gooder House

Gooder House stands in Above Town, a steep and narrow-laned part of Dartmouth around 5 to 10 minutes' walk from the town centre and the river itself. The house is arranged over three floors: a twin bedroom and integrated garage sit at entrance level, with stairs leading up to the main living space.

On the first floor, an open-plan kitchen and dining room has built-in appliances and a wooden table seating six, with bi-folding doors onto a rear terrace with outdoor dining furniture and a gas BBQ. The second-floor attic sitting room has two large sofas, armchairs and dormer windows, plus a Juliet Velux balcony offering glimpses of the River Dart.

Three bedrooms sleep 6. The entrance-level twin room has an en-suite wet room with a shower and heated towel rail. The first-floor master has a super king-size bed, which can be made up as two singles on request, and an en-suite with a walk-in shower. The third bedroom has a double bed, with a family bathroom and a further shower room completing the four bathrooms.

The kitchen has a five-ring gas hob, an eye-level oven, integrated fridge, freezer and dishwasher, and a washing machine sits in the utility room. Gas central heating runs throughout. Two well-behaved dogs are welcome, and Gooder House operates a strict no-smoking policy.
