Glebe Cottage

Glebe Cottage stands on a quiet road in Buckland Monachorum, a village near Yelverton on the western edge of Dartmoor. Inside, the sitting room has a woodburning stove and Smart TV, with a starter pack of logs provided, and a stable door in the kitchen/diner opens onto the rear courtyard.

The cottage sleeps 3 across two first-floor bedrooms, a king-size room with village views and a single room overlooking the garden, sharing a bathroom with a bath and shower over. The kitchen has an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine and dishwasher, and gas central heating runs throughout.

From the courtyard, steps lead down to a private garden and an outdoor dining space, good for morning coffee. Parking is unrestricted on the roadside, with extra spaces in the nearby church car park. Note the garden is not directly behind the cottage and is reached via a service path shared with other properties, and it isn't enclosed.

One well-behaved dog is welcome, though dogs are not allowed in the bedrooms. Smoking is not permitted, and the steps mean the cottage may not suit guests with mobility issues. The shop is 2.3 miles away and the pub just 0.1 miles.
