Back Cottage

Back Cottage is a cottage in the village of Walkhampton, about 1.6 miles from Yelverton. It sleeps 4 across two bedrooms, a double and a small double, sharing a single bathroom with a bath and an overhead shower for a leisurely soak or a quick morning wash.

The living/dining room has a Smart TV and a multi-fuel woodburning stove, with a skuttle of coal provided and logs usable if guests bring their own. The kitchen is fitted with an electric oven, halogen hob, fridge/freezer and washing machine, and electric central heating covers the cottage. WiFi is included, along with fuel, power, bed linen and towels in the rent, and a highchair and travel cot are available for younger guests.

The fully enclosed garden has a lawn and secure storage for pushbikes, though it's reached through a right of way across a neighbouring garden and in through a gate. Guests should also note that access to the cottage itself runs via a gate at the back of two other cottages, again by right of way through their gardens. Roadside parking is available in the village, though not directly next to the cottage.

Well-behaved pets are welcome (confirm how many when booking); the cottage is no smoking throughout, inside and in the garden. The shop is around 1.6 miles away, with a small Saturday market in the village hall, and the local pub is a short stroll across the road.
