Galanda Treetops

Galanda Treetops is a first and second floor apartment, one of two in a detached house set among trees beside the River Yealm, about three-quarters of a mile from the centre of Newton Ferrers. Reached along a bumpy no-through lane, it sleeps 8 across four bedrooms and two bathrooms.

An entrance hall leads up to the first-floor open-plan living space, with a gas fire, dining area, kitchen and river views, plus a glass door onto a balcony. Two bedrooms, a double and a twin, share a bathroom on this floor. Two further bedrooms, a king-size double and a double, are on the second floor under the eaves, sharing a second bathroom, alongside a quiet sitting room.

The kitchen has a microwave, fridge-freezer, tumble dryer, washing machine and dishwasher, and a Smart TV with DVD and WiFi cover evenings in. A payphone is also provided, and fuel and power are included in the rent. Outside, an enclosed terrace at the back has a barbecue for eating alfresco, and a highchair is available on request.

Off-road parking is provided for three cars, and a pub is less than a mile away. Galanda Treetops welcomes two pets, excluding July and August, though local beaches do not allow dogs between May and September. The property is no smoking throughout, and short breaks are not available; bookings run by the week.
