Fingle Bridge

Set within a five-star estate near North Bovey on the edge of Dartmoor National Park, this three-storey lodge accommodates up to six guests across three bedrooms, each with its own en-suite. The king-size room sits on the middle floor with a bath, shower over bath and WC. The upper-floor super-king, available as a twin, has a spacious en-suite with a separate shower, bath and WC. The lower-floor super-king, also available as a twin, has an en-suite shower room and WC. A separate WC and utility room with washer-dryer, iron and ironing board are also on the middle floor entrance level.

The open-plan kitchen, dining and lounge area occupies the lower floor. The kitchen is fully equipped with an electric oven and hob, fridge-freezer, microwave, dishwasher with complimentary tablets and a coffee machine. The lounge has a Smart TV and a gas flame-effect fire. A rear decked patio with outdoor seating is reached directly through the lounge, and a front decked area has a BBQ available April to October at a direct charge payable to the owner (£30 for three days, £50 for four to seven days). A large balcony on the middle floor overlooks the countryside.

Estate facilities included in the stay are the indoor swimming pool, sauna, steam room, whirlpool, gym, tennis courts, pétanque, croquet and a children's play area with swings and climbing frames. Two restaurants and a bar are on site, with the option to pre-order evening meals for delivery to the lodge. Hotel functions occasionally limit bar and restaurant access, and availability is restricted around Christmas and New Year. Paid extras bookable in advance include golf, archery, fly fishing, clay pigeon shooting, Elan Spa treatments and a Kidszone.

Parking is unallocated private on-site for two cars, and electric vehicle charging is available on the estate. Up to three dogs are welcome provided they are at least six months old. A travel cot, highchair and stairgate can all be arranged on request. The adjacent Fox Tor lodge can be booked simultaneously to accommodate larger groups.
