2 New Mill Cottages

2 New Mill Cottages is a cottage near North Bovey, within Dartmoor National Park, reached along narrow Devon lanes and over a stone bridge. It sleeps 4 across two bedrooms upstairs: a super-king-size room with its own en-suite bath, shower over, basin and WC, and a twin room, with a second bathroom close by for its use.

The kitchen has a heated towel rail and is fitted for home cooking, with a dining table seating four and a separate utility room housing a washing machine and tumble dryer. The living/dining room has a woodburning stove and a Smart TV, and oil-fired central heating covers the cottage. Fuel, power and a stove starter pack are included in the rent, along with bed linen and towels, and a travel cot and highchair are available on request.

There's no designated parking, though on-road space is often available opposite the cottage, free parking can be found around half a kilometre away in the village centre, and a car port further down the road suits only small cars. A shared enclosed front garden has a gravelled area, and a private enclosed rear garden, secure for dogs, has further gravel and furniture for eating outside.

One well-behaved pet is welcome; dogs are not allowed on the beds, and throws are provided for the sofa instead. Smoking is not permitted. The pub is around 0.3 miles away, the river about 1.1 miles and the shop 1.8 miles.
