Fernlea is a two-storey property in Appledore sleeping six across three bedrooms. The super-king and double rooms face the estuary, while the twin has garden views and its own en-suite shower room with WC. A family bathroom with shower over bath and WC serves the other bedrooms. Entry is via a few stone steps, so the property is not suitable for anyone who cannot manage stairs.

The kitchen and diner is well equipped with an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washing machine. The lounge has a Smart TV and a flame effect electric fire, and a separate snug also has a Smart TV and electric fire, with French doors opening directly onto the patio. A utility area in the garage holds a tumble dryer, and travel cot and highchair are available on request.

To the rear, an enclosed garden is divided into four separate patio areas, with the top level offering an estuary view and a charcoal BBQ. Mature planting surrounds the dining and seating areas, and a side gate allows direct access from outside, useful when returning with dogs. Gated steps from the garden lead up to a games room in the garage with table football and a magnetic dart board. One private parking space is reached via the lane behind the property, with roadside parking nearby subject to availability.

Up to three dogs are welcome, though additional charges may apply. Pubs, shops and restaurants are within walking distance, and a foot ferry to Instow operates during summer months.
