Aunties Cottage

This terraced cottage sits in Appledore, within walking distance of pubs, shops, eateries and a museum. The property has been renovated across three floors to create a contemporary seaside home, sleeping six guests and up to two dogs, with additional charges applying for pets.

On entry, a light dining room with a bay window and colourful chairs sits to one side of the hallway, leading through to a lounge with a Smart TV with Netflix, a coal-effect gas fire, and cupboards stocked with games and books. The kitchen has wooden worksurfaces and streamlined units housing an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washer/dryer.

A cottage-style staircase leads to a double bedroom and a twin bedroom, plus the bathroom with a shower over bath and WC. A second staircase climbs to a large attic double bedroom set within the eaves, with a Velux window, restricted headroom in places, and a seating area for reading.

Outside, a small private courtyard sits to the rear with steps up to a decked area, garden furniture and a BBQ. An outdoor hot shower is useful for rinsing wetsuits or muddy paws. Parking is roadside, subject to availability, or in nearby public car parks. A travel cot and highchair are available for younger visitors, and internet access is provided throughout the cottage.
